Not sure the amount of walking I did but it wasn’t nearly as much as I had been doing. Left for Hana at 7:05 and had a great tine. Took one of those tour busses that only seat 12 people. Was great cause you got to know everyone. Hung out for most of the day with this older couple from Washington D.C., Bernie and Nancy. When we got to Ocheo Pools Gulch (sp?), we walked down to the lower pools and then made our way up to the upper pools. Didn’t realize how far the upper ones were cause we were thinking they were the same as the lower which was .05 miles. I think they were closer to 2 miles so we had to book it to get back down to the bus in time. We made it back down with no time to spare. We also saw a few churches, lots of water falls as well as Charles Lindburgh’s grave. Beautiful place for a small church and cemetery because they overlooked the ocean. Also drove through the rain forest and it literally rained for a second right before we were sitting down for lunch. Joe, our tour guide, was one of the best guides I have seen. So knowledgeable about Hana and everything we were seeing. Would definitely recommend Valley Isles to anyone wanting to see Hana. The tour was the perfect ending to an amazing, relaxing vacation. Got back to Kressa’s about 6:00 and hung out with her and Steven for awhile before heading to bed. Oh, almost forgot, bought pineapple passion fruit (maui splash) wine to take home but I would have to check my bag through and not carry it on the plane. Not wanting to do that so we are going to make mimosa’s in the morning. Bought orange juice from Safeway to make them. I will just have to see if I can have some of the wine shipped to me or see if Kressa can bring me a bottle when she visits in June.

Went for a walk in the evening – 1.90 miles
