Have you noticed that many toiletry bags that you see are designed the same way? Well, the ones I have come across are designed in the way that you have three separate compartments and then a bigger compartment at the bottom of the bag. I already have something along these lines but it looked too bulky for me to use in my backpack. I wanted something more compact; easier to pack around it if needed.
Now the toiletry bag I am currently using doesn’t hold my shampoo or conditioner upright. When placing your bottles in the compartment, you have to lay them on the side. This has caused a few spills for me when I would get ready to use them. I needed something that would eliminate this problem for me.
I decided to go with the Neatpack toiletry bag for this very reason. It has compartments where you can place your shampoo and conditioner upright so they won’t spill over everything.
The toiletry bag is on sale ($15.95) and comes in two colors; marine and graphite. Normally it sells for $34.95 so not sure if this is an ongoing sale or not. You will need to check it out if you decide to go with this bag.

- Perfect for travel size bottles i.e. shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toothpaste

- Too small if you want to fit a regular size hairbrush or anything that is not considered travel-sized into it
Summary
I love how compactness (is that even a word?) of the toiletry bag but feel it is a bit too small if you want to take anything that is not travel sized. For example, I have a regular sized hair brush that will not fit into the bag. I tried fitting it inside the bag as well as into the side pockets and it won’t fit into either section. I would need to buy a travel sized hair brush if I wanted to use this for my travels.
This bag is great for small items but not so great for full size items if you were thinking of taking them with you when traveling.
I still love how compact this is and feel it will be great when I backpack since I usually take travel sized items onto the plane with me. Now if I was checking the backpack through the airlines wanting to take full size bottles of shampoo and conditioner with me then this bag would not work. I would need a toiletry bag that would work in that instance.
The only change I would make is offering another size in the toiletry bag. Keep this size for travel sized items and then make another size that can hold a regular sized hair brush or toothbrush.
