I have never thought about using any type of remote device when taking photos with my IPhone. I typically would use my camera to take landscape photos and my cellphone to take selfies if needed. Sometimes it gets to be a hassle having to hold my phone hoping to get the perfect shot of myself or the surroundings around me. So I got to thinking how cool would it be to be able to put the phone down and remotely be able to take photos with it.
This is where having the Bluetooth remote comes in handy. Can you imagine being able to start and stop your phone from a distance? They could be feet away from you and with the push of a button you can start the action right away without having to hold the phone in one hand whilst keeping still trying to push the button with the same hand.
There are many Bluetooth devices out there for your phone; research to see which remote device would work best for you. For me, I am using the ShutterPro for my IPhone 5S.
With the holidays upon us, it is on sale ($12.95) and comes in four colors; glacial blue, midnight black, salmonberry pink and tongass green. Normally the list price is at $19.95 but this is a pre-Christmas sale through Amazon.

Summary
I love that I can put my IPhone down; taking photos with it without holding the phone at all. Before, it was a nuisance having to hold the phone and try and take pictures with it. I love the concept of the remote because all I have to do is sit it down and take photos of my surroundings or selfies. I recommend having a tripod or selfie stick to go along with the remote because it would make it easier for getting that perfect shot. I didn’t use a tripod or selfie stick when I took these photos. I had to put the phone down; pushing the remote to take the photos. Still it is nice to know I can sit my phone down anywhere, not having to hold it and with the click of the remote take photos of where I am.

I need a remote for my phone and wasn’t sure where to start. I’m going to grab one of these!
Plus you don’t want to spend a lot for a remote for your phone if you have to. I have seen some where the price was out of my price range and this one is under $20.
