What Place Do You Often Revisit?
Possibly Manila, Philippines. I was born there and I often find myself visiting there whenever I visit Philippines. I am not really fond of Manila but still I always find myself revisiting.
What is it About This Particular City or Country (s) That Holds a Piece of Your Heart?
I would say the people you met and the places that totally gave you the goosebumps. I am still very attached to Nice, France because of the people we met there and as well the experience of waking up in the morning to catch the early sun by the beach.
Is it a Feeling of Trying to Recreate Moments from Visiting the City (Listed Above)?
Please Elaborate; For Instance, in visiting Paris I may try and recreate the moments of getting lost with friends I met through Busabout. I remember we tried to find the Sacre Coeur late at night and upon finding it, we climbed to the top of the steps, sat down and drank from a bottle of wine as well as ate the baguette we brought along with us. Perfect ending to getting lost since we got the best view of the city below us.
I haven’t exactly recreate any moments when I visit places. I normally try to look for new moments and experiences but whenever I do I always try to meet new amazing people to get inspiration from. Someone I feed of people’s interesting stories and I like to collect as many new experiences as I can.
What Are Your Reasons for Exploring New Cities Over Revisiting the Same One Again and Again?
Experiences. I am also a big fan of cultures and I try to learn from different place’s culture as much as I can. For instance during my recent trip to Nice, France I realize how different it is to Paris when it comes to people and living culture. Parians are busy and they walk fast meanwhile in Nice people are more chill and relaxed.
In Exploring New Cities; How do You Decide Which Places to Visit?
I’m a big planner but not up to an extent that I plan every detail. However recently I try to go by the flow when I visit new places and for some reason it gives me a more exciting feeling when I discover beautiful new places! Nowadays I decide on the spur of the moment when I know I have time but if I visit just for the weekend then the big planner in me kicks in.
Do You Want to Visit New Cities Because it Would be a New Experience for You?
Please Elaborate; For Instance, do you visit the Cinque Terre in Italy so that you can walk through all five villages having never experienced it before since this would be your first time visiting them.
It depends really, some new cities for me are just a way for me to unwhine with no big plans however some new cities excites me and I have a very big idea on what I should do and what to expect therefore the experience brings me so much stories to tell!
