I never knew there were so many types of postcards or should I saw designs until I started traveling. You always think there are a few designs for each city or country you visit until you get there. Then you see all the many designs that someone comes up with to put on a postcard that you can send back home to your friends and family. These are but a few of the postcards I sent home when I backpacked through Europe.

Have you ever sent postcards to yourself from the many places you visited? Might make for an interesting read to see what you wrote to yourself at that time in your life when you were traveling. For instance, that pub or many pubs you stopped at while in Dublin or driving down the coast of Italy. Postcards are a way for us to remember that time in our lives when we set out to see the world; travel outside of our own backyard and out of our comfort zone to explore what was out there.
