Headed out of Venice and into Switzerland. I can’t believe I am going into Switzerland since it wasn’t part of my intinerary when I started planning this trip.It was either go through parts of Switzerland or parts of Germany to get back to Paris for the end of my trip. I decided on Switzerland because I thought it would be awesome to see that part of the country.
Left Venice at 8:00. Arrived in Lucerne, Switzerland around 4:00 pm. Got settled in my dorm room. Staying at the Hotel Tourist for a couple of nights. Sharing a room with Carrie, Jo and Sondra from New Zealand. They were also on the bus from Venice.
Did some walking over the Spreuerbrucke bridge and did some window shopping before heading back to the hostel. Checked my email and received email birthday cards from Lilli and Kathy. Shocked they remembered my birthday without me having to remind them. Especially with me being in another country. Bought one yellow rose for my birthday tomorrow.
