I left for Cesky Krumlov where I will be staying for four days though I am not sure what I will be doing all this time. It’s such a small town but that is what I wanted. I arrived at 11:30 am and not sure what to do yet. Four other people got off the bus with me. I met Chris at reception. He’s from Australia but he will be working in Salt Lake City, Utah for seven months starting in August.
I went for a walk through town with Chris and Simon who is also from Australia. We were in search of food. We found this one restaurant where I had chicken snitzel, fries and it looked like a pint of beer. After lunch, we walked to the castle and the gardens where I think I will visit again while I am here. It looks like a really nice and quiet place to sit and read for awhile. Then we headed back to the hostel and I went outside and started talking to a couple of people staying there. I think we all talked until about 7:30 when some of us headed down to this one restaurant for dinner.
Juju (Prague), Chris, Simon, Nate (San Francisco), Vicki, Carrie and I were the only ones who headed to the restaurant from the hostel. After dinner, we headed back to the hostel and sat by the fire talking and drinking some beer. About 9:30 – 10:00, we headed to the snake bar to drink some more. It was crazy in there because the czechs won in ice hockey. It was this big celebration because they won. Then, Chris and I headed back to the hostel about 2:00 am.
