Another one of my short entries from the trip.
Lilly left for Brindisi while Ye and I headed back into Venice for the day. We headed back to Piazza San Marco and went inside the Basilica San Marco which is very impressive on the inside. I walked up to the top and then walked outside along the balcony to take some more photos of the square from where I stood. Then I walked around some more and looked at their outside markets to see what they were selling. Then, I headed to an internet cafe that I found and saw a couple of messages from mom. I didn’t realize she hadn’t heard from me in over a week. I emailed her back to let her know I was safe. Just window shopped today ….. Soon, we headed back to the camp to have dinner. Ran into Renata whom we met on the bus from Paris. She had arrived today from St. Johann.
