I got up early so I would be ready for the tour I would be taking through the Scottish Highlands. I am planning on taking a few weeks to go through the Highlands. I left Edinburgh and ended up getting dropped off in Corpach. It wouldn’t have been my first choice of a place to be dropped off at since I wouldn’t call it a town. Where I live now is bigger than this place. Corpach is a few hours from Kyleakin on the Isle of Skye where I will be staying next. I haven’t really done a whole lot since I have been here. Taking it easy and trying not to push myself every single day. I am staying at Farr Cottage which has to be one of the nicest places I have stayed so far on this trip.
Before I arrived in Corpach, we stopped at the Wallace Monument. I walked all the way to the monument and the hike almost killed me since it was all uphill. I didn’t go inside since I didn’t feel it was worth paying to see the inside of the monument. Though, the view from the outside was breathtaking. We also stopped by some Lochs (they would be called lakes in the U.S.) along the way until we reached Corpach where I would be staying for a couple of nights.
